Aspens in Autumn 5 Panorama - Santa Fe National Forest, New Mexico.
There is something about aspens, sometimes referred to as quaking aspen. Is it the white bark with black knots? Is it the colors we see in the fall, or the stark colors in winter?
Aspen grow as a family unit, constantly sending out new shoots. So, when you see a grove of aspen, it is likely all the same root system.
This image was taken a few hundred feet off the Tesuque Trail in the Santa Fe National Forest.
This is a great piece for custom work. If you would like a custom size, just let me know.
